LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – Legendary comedian, actor and writer Norm Macdonald has passed away at the age of 61.

Macdonald died after a long battle with cancer, according to Variety.
The Canadian actor is best known for being a cast member on “Saturday Night Live” from 1993-1998, where he hosted Weekend Update. He had numerous film and television credits, including “Billy Madison,” “Doctor Dolittle,” “Roseanne,” “The Middle,” “Family Guy” and “The Orville.”
